On Thanksgiving weekend, beginning Friday, November 27, join us for a ramped up ‘Light Up The North'! Our new light show will feature 12 different themed areas and the Great Lakes State's first ever choreographed musical snowflake display. The light tour will play host to over 189 lighted display pieces, 71% of which are animated, and are filled with LED technology. The light show will feature displays such as an igloo and ski haus; playful penguins and a toy duck; silhouetted and spiraling snowflakes; snowmen and Old Man Winter; flying eagles and a moose; and of course the entire reindeer team and Old St. Nick.
In addition, there will be a choreographed, animated musical snowflake display (50' x 20') nestled in the back of the Garland Resort Lodge. The snowflakes are set to dance to the sounds of music.
In front of the Lodge, the Fountain of Lights will greet guests with lights replicating the flowing water every visitor enjoys during the spring, summer and autumn seasons. For the first time, visitors to Garland Lodge and Resort in the wintertime will experience a working fountain - this one however, is filled with thousands of cascading lights.
Admission to the Light show will be $13 per car and $3 off coupons will be available through various media partners. Lodging packages will start at $55 per person plus taxes and resort fees and this year, all winter packages will include admission to the Light Show.
Light Show will be open weekly Thursday through Sunday until December 20th. Closed December 24th and 25th, reopening December 26th and open everyday until January 3rd.
